INTERNAL SALES ENGINEER (INSTRUMENTATION): CHESHIRE BASED. £30-35K BASIC PLUS BONUS, PENSION, HEALTHCARE AND MORE. WORLD LEADING COMPANY.

They supply their smart technology to their major leading companies within the oil and gas upstream and midstream, refining and petrochemical, power and energy industries. We are presently seeking an internal sales engineer for this client.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for generation of new leads in diverse industries, working
on a cyclical process of:
1. Investigation; proactive/investigative calls to develop a possible list of client contacts within
targeted Industry Segments
2. Targeted Messaging; assemble or develop sales collateral with industry manager/application
specialists/European HQ marketing
3. Mailing: Email campaign with sales collateral to target Industry or Application audience
4. Active Sales: Proactive follow]up sales calls. Creation of leads – distributed to regional sales
team for local follow up/demos and sales closure
5. Repeat: Start Next Campaign / continue follow ups with existing campaign

Responsibilities

Industry application targeted new lead generation; duties include:
1. Target database development including investigative phone calls and web investigation
2. Interface with Industry Managers and Marketing Manager to assemble sales collateral
3. Coordination of mailer campaigns and follow up sales calls
4. Setting sales appointment calls/demonstrations for Area Sales Managers based on
generated leads
5. Monitoring and reporting on lead generation progress/new business achievement
including update records within CRM system

Computer literate ] proficient on Microsoft packages, especially MS Excel (incl. pivot tables),
Word, Outlook and CRM dynamics
Effectively contribute to the team’s approach to continuous improvement, e.g. identify and
escalate ideas to the MD for operational process improvements to deliver a better service and/or improve efficiency
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self–motivation and the ability to self manage is essential in this role as the successful candidate will be required to work on their own initiative and with minimal supervision after the completion of the induction period
Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
