The Client
Our client is quite simply one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies, with a reputation for being one of the best organisations to work for. We are presently seeking a Maintenance Planner for this client on contract, in a days role. We are seeking candidates ideally who have some experience of planning maintenance activities.
The Role
The key role of the maintenance planner is to own the asset maintenance plan for their area of responsibility. The planner works in the medium to long term time horizon to make sure maintenance tasks are executable.
The maintenance planner creates a safe plan of work detailing the actual work needed in sequential order, appropriate maintenance procedures, known required parts and specialist tools and resources, craft requirements with time estimates, retest requirements, specifications, safety, quality and environmental requirements needed to perform the work.
General Responsibilities
Skills & Experience Required
Experience of planning preventative maintenance in a manufacturing environment
Some engineering education (HNC), associate’s degree, skilled trade training or experience.
Have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship.
Knowledge of Mechanical, ECI or Chemical Engineering.
Additional Skills/Preferences
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
Good working knowledge of Maximo preferred.
A proactive and flexible attitude in a changing environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of Safe Systems of Work
